missingWrote a review on Dec 03historic architecturegarden viewpoor connectivity
The architecture of the building stands out with historic charm, and the breakfast area features a garden view that adds a pleasant touch to the morning meal.
Poor internet connection created issues for work, only delivering slow speeds in the bar area. The air conditioning system was frustratingly difficult to operate, requiring unnecessary trips to the reception for changes. Heavy luggage transport was cumbersome due to numerous stairs along the hallways, and the loud elevator music felt out of place in a setting that could have highlighted authentic Italian ambiance. Additionally, the signage directing guests to rooms was sparse and confusing, leaving a disorganized impression on the property.

The stay at Palazzo Santo Spirito exceeded expectations in many ways. The architecture is stunning, showcasing a charming historic building. My room felt brand new with modern interior design and organic toiletries, offering a touch of luxury. I appreciated the minibar stocked with soft drinks and that the staff were consistently polite and accommodating. Breakfast in the indoor garden was a highlight, with gorgeous views and plenty of greenery. However, I regretted not being able to see the ancient frescoes mentioned during my visit. The limited access to the spa, which could accommodate only two people at a time, was also disappointing, especially since I had to adjust my plans for my daughter's birthday celebration. Despite these inconveniences, the stay was comfortable, with clean rooms and a great location close to cultural attractions.

Our family trip was greatly enhanced by the lovely experience we had. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds, and the bathroom had plenty of space—perfect for a family. We also appreciated how the staff noticed our early departure and prepared takeaway breakfasts for us. The hotel’s gardens were a peaceful retreat after our day exploring. we especially enjoyed breakfast outside, surrounded by the beautiful scenery. It was a short walk to the train station, making it effortless to visit nearby attractions like the Upper Old Town.

Couple seeking charm and character
The staff was friendly and helpful. You could feel the effort they put into making our stay comfortable. The location is just perfect, close to cafes and restaurants. The room had a quaint design, and even though it was in a historical building, everything felt fresh. It’s like stepping into a piece of history without giving up modern comforts.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable given the experience we had.
